If you have set your browser to open pdf files within the browser, the file will open automatically. However, we recommend you set your browser to save the file. If you save the file, you can more easily print it out. If you have any questions about downloading your JapanConsuming file, please contact us: support@japanconsuming.com Viewing JapanConsuming Monthly Report JapanConsuming is produced using Adobe Acrobat. The monthly report is saved as a "pdf" (portable document format) file, and can be opened on almost any kind of computer. You can view the documents by downloading Adobe's free Acrobat Reader software. This is available in both Windows and Macintosh format, and can now handle a number of languages. The dowload pages forAdobe Acrobat are here. When installing Acrobat, you may install a plug-in which will allow you to view JapanConsuming from within your favorite Web Browsing software (Netscape Communicator or Microsoft Internet Explorer). We do not recommend this. Basically, the larger the memory you have on your printer, the better you will succeed, but it is possible to print the report even with more basic resources. If you have problems printing the report, before printing, try adjusting the settings within the "Print Set-up" dialog to "Print As Image" (or similar), and NOT "Postcript". This will solve most problems. We are looking for the best and easiest printing methods for various platforms, and would welcome feedback from readers about their experiences. Please contact us at: support@japanconsuming.com.
